Getting busier and busier also means one needs to streamline/simplify the services provided. After many sleepless nights, I’ve decided to start making some changes to my services. In most cases, these changes will have no negative impact on my current clients.
The first change takes care of my web hosting packages.
I’ve removed the cheapest option. Why? Well, it didn’t work. Not for me, anyway. People would subscribe to that option, knowing they’re on their own and yet contacting me, asking me for help with their setup.
I don’t have a problem with that for as long as the client’s ready to pay for my time. Unfortunately, most of those who opt for the cheapest solutions are those who expect other people to work for free. Sorry, I’ve got bills to pay just as anyone else. And all the technology involved in order for your website to run fast and smooth costs quite a bit of cash, too.
To compensate for this inconvenience, the storage space is now 5GB (was 2GB) so you should be okay without upgrading a wee bit longer (existing customers should see their disk quotas increased automatically).
Of course, tailor made packages are still available so if you need something special, do get in touch.
